Soccer Type
The most well-known soccer type is of
course the outdoor soccer. This type is played all around
the world, with a huge number of countries having their own
soccer teams for both men and women as well. Not only this
but there are both premier and youth soccer leagues working
in a lot of countries, working for the advertising of the
game. The outdoor football is played between 2 teams of 11
players in each side playing for 90 minutes. A rectangular
field of various proportions, however, following a
homogeneous length and width, is used in the
intercontinental and league matches.
Indoor football, as different to the
outdoor one has become a very admired sport in North
America, so much so that there is yet a league with the name
of Indoor Major League Soccer in USA. Although the game is
fairly similar to the outdoor football, there are certain
things which are dissimilar too. There are lesser numbers of
players, normally 5 to 6, duration of one half is lesser,
the numbers of substitution are more as contrast to the
outdoor soccer. Even the field on which the game is played
is of singular style, most of the time either playing on the
hard court or the Astroturf.
Festal is a type of indoor soccer. Its
name originated from the Portuguese fuetbol de salao and the
Spanish futbol sala/de salon. Futsal is played between 2
teams of 5 players at the same side, as well as the goal
keeper. Every team can have 7 substitutes. Unlike some other
varieties of the indoor football, the court in festal is
limited by drawing the lines, like in the outdoor football.
The ball of futsal is much slighter as compare to the one
used in other types, having less jump.
The beach football is one more difference
brought into the connection football. This sport is played
on beaches mostly, where the stress is laid on the skills to
plan the ball, agility of the player and scoring the goals.
Although the game is played for a long time, however, in
1992, a proper organization with the name of Beach Soccer
Worldwide was introduced. This organization dignified the
rules of the game applying them on all the beach football
matches played crossways the world. All the beach football
tournaments are also organized under this organization.
Street football is the most informal type
of soccer played nowadays. In this way the game does not
need to go after the rules of the game to their fullest. The
players do not require a large field, markings over the
field, the goal posts and nets, flags or even 11 players in
each team. The only thing necessary by the children playing
on the street is a football along with a wall, serving the
purpose of the goal mostly. Street soccer is the most
unimpeded form of soccer where the only thing the players go
after are the skills and the moves with which they play with
the ball, bringing it in complete control of their selves,
the game is full of the unrestricted kicks and shoots and
heads. Every type of football has its own payback and use.
Each one of them has its own follower club and follows the
game with a lot of obsession for every one. The first
(outdoor soccer) and the last one (street soccer) as we
discussed before, however, are the most admired and widely
played types of football. |
